About the Movement

We are a community movement dedicated to the health and unity of Lake Como. Move Como: The Path Back to Us is more than a race; it is a journey to reconnect with our shared history and restore our collective well-being. By walking together, we honor the legacy of those who built our village and pave the way for a vibrant future.

WE ARE WALKING THROUGH HISTORY

The Story We’re Honoring

Lake Como is more than a neighborhood — it is a living legacy built by families, churches, schools, elders, entrepreneurs, organizers, and community leaders who created something lasting with vision, unity, and determination. During the Lake Como Unity Run & History Walk, participants will experience pieces of that history along the route through guided storytelling, landmarks, signage, and community voices. We are intentionally saving the full story for race day so participants can walk it, feel it, and experience it together.
